First off, a quick reminder to join us at our PTA meeting this Wednesday, April 10, at 8:45am in the Library. I’ll be updating you on hiring, enrollment and much more – plus we’ll hear curriculum and project reports from some of our wonderful science and social studies teachers. And, of course, there’s always the delicious coffee, bagels and yogurt shots!
Our AUCTION on Thursday evening was wonderful! Thank you to all of the volunteers who brought it home to 75 Morton. I had a great time. I wish I had been able to say hi to everyone there – but I was caught up in the crowd and music and bidding and other staff and elected officials, etc.!
I cannot wait to see the AUCTION next year when we have added 300 plus families and even more energy and joy. You are a fantastic community – and it is the power of nights like Thursday that remind us that we come together for our kids. Every minute of work all of you do as volunteers is essential to the education of our students. THANK YOU.
This Friday we are getting a visit of 22 educators from Stavanger, Norway. They are being led by a principal and dear friend of my family’s. I love nothing better than showing off the work of our students and staff. If you happen to be in the building, let me know – I would love you to meet the Norwegians. I have visited schools in Norway and Chile to see the work in classrooms but I have never met the families. Let me know if you are in the building on Friday!
